Which one fits your team

Agentforce is a strong product for Salesforce companies. The question is where your work lives.

Choose Agentforce when

  • Your sales, service and customer records already live in Salesforce, and you want agents that act on that data, built with Salesforce's Agent Builder and Agent Script.
  • You run a contact centre or a customer service desk and want agents for chat and voice that resolve cases and hand off to people.
  • You want to buy through your existing Salesforce account, in Flex Credits, conversations or user licences, and watch consumption in its Digital Wallet.

Choose TobyBot when

  • Your work crosses Google, Microsoft, Meta and LinkedIn tools as well as a CRM, and you would rather set the goal than build the agent first.
  • You want a plain monthly price for a workspace: Pro is $59 a month, Team is $299 a month and the limits are published.
  • You want to see the plan as cards before it runs, watch every tool call and result as it happens, and pause a running task.

How Agentforce prices

Its pricing page offers three ways to buy. Flex Credits cost $500 for 100,000 credits, and the page says an Agentforce action draws 20 of them. Conversations cost $2 each for customer-facing agents. Per-user options include an add-on at $125 a user a month for unmetered employee use and an Agentforce Coworker licence at $50 a user a month.

The same page shows Salesforce Foundations at $0 as a way to start. It says the page is for information only and subject to change, and it points to a sales representative and a Flex Credit calculator for detailed pricing.

TobyBot counts actions, triggers and AI credits for a workspace. Salesforce counts its own actions, conversations and users. The units do not line up, so we do not rank the two on price. If most of your work already runs on Salesforce licences, ask Salesforce what is included before you add anything.

Full plan details are on the TobyBot pricing page.

Moving a job from Agentforce to TobyBot

You do not have to choose one for the whole company. Start with a job that does not depend on a single Salesforce record.

  1. Pick a job that spans tools

Choose work that touches inboxes, documents and chat as well as the CRM. Write it in a few sentences and say when it should start.

  2. Connect the tools and paste the job

Connect Google or Microsoft accounts with the native connectors. A CRM or any other internal system connects through an MCP server. Paste the job as a request and read the plan TobyBot writes.

  3. Save it and run both for a while

Save the result as a bot and add the schedule or webhook. Compare its output with your current setup before you change anything.

TobyBot and Salesforce Agentforce: frequently asked questions

Is TobyBot or Agentforce better for a company that runs on Salesforce?

If most of your agents need to read and write Salesforce records, Agentforce is built for that and is the natural first look. TobyBot suits the work around the CRM that spans several tools, where you want to set the goal and see the plan. Many teams can sensibly use both.

How much does Salesforce Agentforce cost?

As of November 2026 Salesforce's pricing page lists Flex Credits at $500 per 100,000, conversations at $2 each, and per-user options from $5 to $125 a user a month, with a sales conversation for detail. TobyBot costs $59 a month for Pro and $299 a month for Team.

Can TobyBot connect to Salesforce?

TobyBot has native connectors for Google, Microsoft, Meta and LinkedIn. Other systems, including a CRM, connect through MCP servers. Agentforce also lists MCP support, with servers from its AgentExchange partners.

Does TobyBot have agents for voice and contact centres?

Agentforce lists Agentforce Voice for phone support. TobyBot works from typed requests, templates such as a support chatbot, and channels such as Telegram. If phone support is the main job, put Agentforce on your shortlist.

How do several agents work together in TobyBot?

Every workspace ships with five roles: support, growth, planner, knowledge and studio. The planner breaks a request into steps and hands each to the right agent. Agentforce describes multi-agent orchestration for the same kind of coordination.

How do you get started with each?

Salesforce's page shows Salesforce Foundations at $0 as a way to begin. With TobyBot, you book a demo and bring a task, and we run it while you watch.
